1. Introduction
StrutAI ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, store, and safeguard your information when you use the StrutAI mobile application and related services.
2. Information We Collect
Onboarding Responses
The preferences you select during setup, such as your gender, age range, the areas you want to improve (for example posture, pace, or eye contact), and the goal you're working toward. We use these to tailor your results and plan. StrutAI does not require you to create an account or provide your name.
Walk Videos & Movement Analysis Data
Walk videos (clips you record or upload within the app) that you voluntarily capture for AI-powered walk and posture analysis, and non-identifying analysis data derived from those videos (such as posture, stride, balance, pace, and presence indicators).
Device & Usage Information
Information about your device (device model, operating system version, app version) and app usage data (features used, time spent), collected to improve app functionality and stability.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information solely to:
- Provide AI-powered walk and posture analysis features requested by the user
- Process walk videos to generate personalized movement insights
- Display analysis results within the app
- Improve app performance and user experience
- Maintain security and prevent abuse
- Provide user support and respond to inquiries
StrutAI does not perform biometric identification, facial recognition, identity verification, or create biometric identifiers or biometric templates.
Walk videos and analysis data are not used for advertising, tracking, profiling, or AI model training.
4. User Consent & Control
Walk videos are processed only after explicit user action (recording or uploading a clip).
You remain in control of your videos. From your Walk Results, the menu (•••) includes a Delete My Data option that permanently removes the walk clips StrutAI saved on this device. Videos you recorded or uploaded also remain in your own photo library, where you can delete them at any time, and deleting the app removes the onboarding responses and results held within it.
Core app functionality is not dependent on providing optional personal information.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your walk videos and analysis results stay on your device. The clip you record or choose remains in your own photo library and device storage, and your results are shown to you within the app. StrutAI does not operate a walk-video database and cannot access your videos.
We apply appropriate technical and organizational safeguards consistent with Apple's security and privacy standards.
6. Data Sharing
Your walk video is used only to generate your analysis. StrutAI does not sell, rent, or share your walk videos or movement data, and does not use them for advertising, tracking, profiling, or AI model training.
Should StrutAI use a service provider to help operate the app in the future (for example, to process a clip for analysis or to provide diagnostics), that provider would be used solely to deliver the requested service, would be required to meet data-protection and security standards at least equal to those described here and Apple's App Store Review Guidelines, and this policy would be updated to name it.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
StrutAI does not retain your walk videos on any server.
You stay in control of your clips: a video you record is saved by your device's camera, and a video you upload remains in your photo library. You can remove the clips StrutAI saved on your device at any time using Delete My Data in the app (Walk Results → ••• menu), or delete the originals through your device. Your onboarding responses and results live only within the app and are removed if you delete the app.
8. Children's Privacy
StrutAI is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
